Feedback Score and Rating System

Through the Feedback and Rating system a Feedback score and comments are left for you by other members of the Site and are used to indicate to other members your reputation as a User or Professional on Protask.

Once an auction event has closed and the transaction has been completed, both the User and Professional will be able to use the feedback and ratings system to evaluate and leave feedback of the overall experience they had with each other.

Users will also be able to use the feedback and rating system to rate a Professional on specific work criteria such as professionalism and communication.

Our rating system uses increments of 1.0 to 5.0 and as a member in the marketplace your feedback is an average of the overall feedback ratings given from other members which will be displayed in your profile for other members to review. This process positively reflects the outcome of each members rating and feedback reports in the marketplace.

Within the Professionals' or Users' profile, detailed feedback comments left will be visible at the bottom of the feedback chart; the tabs available provide feedback details from doing business as a User or Professional and any feedback details left for other members.

The Feedback and Rating system are an important part of Protask and a low Feedback score and/or negative comments can negatively affect the ability of a Professional member to successfully bid for future jobs. Accordingly you should carefully consider any Feedback score and/or comments you intend to leave another member and only post a Feedback score and/or comments if it is accurate, fair and truthful. If you have any issues with another member it is in both parties’ best interests to attempt to resolve the issues between them.

Any use of the Feedback system to coerce or attempt to coerce another member in any way will be regarded a breach of the Terms of Service and we reserve the right to terminate the membership of any member whom we believe to have been using the Feedback system in an inappropriate manner (determined at our discretion).  

A negative Feedback score and/or comments may considerably effect the reputation and business success of the individual and/or business that the Feedback or comments relate to and negative feedback and/or comments may be considered to be defamatory of the reputation and standing of individuals and businesses it is left for. You acknowledge and agree that under no circumstances (including but not limited to any act or omission on the part of Protask) will we be liable for any loss or damages (including, without limitation, indirect, incidental, special or consequential or punitive damages and damages for loss of profits) whatsoever which result from any Feedback score or comments posted on the Site and you, hereby release forever and indemnify Protask from any liability it may incur arising out of (whether directory or indirectly) any Feedback score and/or comments you post on the Site.

Protask reserves the right (but is not obligated) to remove from the Site any Feedback score or comment it considers (in its absolute discretion) to be defamatory, not justified, inflammatory, vulgar, mischievous or unnecessary.

Protask does not post Feedback scores or comments on the Site and all Feedback scores and comments are made by the member that posts them on the Site. Protask by allowing a Feedback score or comment to remain on the Site does not endorse, agree with or otherwise approve of, or comment on that Feedback score or comment.

Should you or another member commence any action or proceeding or threaten to commence any action or proceeding, or make any claim or demand against Protask in relation to a Feedback score or comment you have posted on the Site, then Protask may at its absolute discretion and without notice to you, suspend or terminate your membership of the Site immediately.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you are in doubt as to whether a Feedback score and/or comment you propose to post on the Site could be considered defamatory or libelous of another member then you should obtain independent legal advice from a lawyer before posting the Feedback score or comment on the Site.
